Caging
The caging for our subadult and adult animals is based on Tony Nicoli's design, which we first saw in 1999. Craig builds these, modifying and refining the design specifically for us. We have found that simplicity is the best option when it comes to emerald caging. Subadult animals and males are housed in approximately 24" cubes, breeding size females are housed in 36-46" x 24" high caging. Neonates are housed in shoebox plastic containers. Yearlings are housed in slightly larger plastic containers. Various pictures can be seen below.
Coming soon is a page detailing construction of our acrylic cages for those of you who want to try building your own. Please note, we only build these for our personal use and do not sell them.
